Kings privacy policy

Your play stays on your device

Kings does not require a Kings account. Boards, progress, settings, chosen crown, practice history and statistics are stored locally. The app keeps a previous local save for recovery. It has no Cortex server, cloud synchronization, advertising network, tracking SDK or third-party analytics SDK.

Deleting the app removes its local data, subject to any device backups managed by Apple. Kings does not provide its own remote backup or an in-app progress import.

Purchases

Optional Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment information and billing. Kings uses Apple's verified purchase status on your device to enable Premium; it does not send your purchase receipt or play history to a Cortex server. Cortex does not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide the developer with App Store sales reports and diagnostics under Apple's own policies and your sharing settings.

Your subscription and Apple Account are governed by Apple's privacy policy. Deleting Kings does not cancel a subscription; manage it in your Apple Account's subscription settings.

Export and support

Exporting progress creates a file on your device and opens the system sharing interface. Nothing is sent automatically. The export includes current and backup progress and, where needed, preserved recovery data. Share it only with a recipient you choose.

If you email support, we receive the email address, message and any files you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and investigate the reported problem, retaining them only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations. Do not send payment card details or passwords. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence.

This website

The Kings support and privacy pages use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. They are hosted on GitHub Pages, whose provider may process technical request information such as IP addresses for operation and security. See GitHub's privacy statement. External links open services governed by their own policies.

Changes and contact

This policy describes the current version. If Kings adds data collection, the policy and relevant App Store disclosures will be updated before that functionality is introduced. For privacy questions, write to contact@cortexstudio.io.
